The Remington RM1015P electric pole saw has a 15 ft reach capability with an adjustable telescoping pole. It has a mains powered 8 amp motor which powers a 10 inch cutting blade. The pole can be quickly removed, changing the tool from a pole saw to a hand held electric chainsaw.

Reviewers all commented about the smooth operation, quietness and low maintenance of this pole saw compared with it's gas powered competitors. The unit has much more power than it's cordless competitors, and with a suitably long power cord (or a gas generator) the cordless capability becomes less of an advantage.
Reviewers commented that one of the main advantages of this pole saw is that it can be used as a conventional electric chain saw. This is because this pole saw is basically a chainsaw mounted on a pole and the saw head can be dismounted (without tools) and used to cut low branches.
Some reviewers commented that this electric pole saw is the least ergonomic of all the pole saws being reviewed. This is because all the weight is concentrated in the cutting head and when the saw is used fully extended then the saw does not have a counterbalance. The means that the decision to buy this pole saw must be based on how much work you have to do. If you are planning to do a lot of trimming then a pole saw in this price range is not the one you should purchase.
